Jaden was walking through the forest of Duel Academy making the most of his weekend with no classes or homework. An object catches Jaden’s eye as he looks over to find a rather odd notebook. He curiously picked it up and examined it.
There was nothing unusual about its appearance or anything, in fact, it looked just like all those other notebooks he and his fellow Duel Academy students were given in class to take notes. Notebooks that he rarely uses.
But this one had a strange vibe to it that he couldn't quite put his finger on. Especially since he noticed that it was damaged or dirtied despite being expose to the element.
Things got even weirder when words suddenly appeared on the cover page.
Jaden Yuki. By finding this notebook, you have now been given dominion over your world's reality.
"What the?!" He exclaimed, nearly dropping the notebook in shock. His disbelief only grew as more words continued to appear along the formerly blank cover page.
Anything you write down in this notebook's pages will shape your world and the people who live in it. Only you can use the notebook's power, but if you wish to share the book's power with another all you need to do is write it down.
"Ok, I've seen a lot of weird stuff happening here in the academy. But a notebook that lets me alter my reality? No way something like this really exist. This is properly way too good to be true."
"Oh it is very real."
Jaden was shocked when he heard the book spoke. "Was that my imagination or did this notebook just talk to me?"
"Yes. But be warned Jaden Yuki, while this notebook's powers are great, they are not without limits. So pay attention as these rules are important and unchangeable."
A list of rules appeared for Jaden to read and know.
Rule 1: This book can't kill anyone.
Rule 2: This book can't prevent a death from occurring, it can however bring the dead back to life.
Rule 3: This book cannot change a person's gender. But if properly phrased, it can change what gender a person was born as, rewriting how they were born.
Rule 4: This book can only make 10 changes to your world a day. 20 changes to individual people.
Rule 5: This book cannot make any male pregnant.
Rule 6: This book cannot turn people into babies. It can de-age but no younger than 10 years old.
"Other than these limits, all of reality is now at your disposal. Use your newfound cosmic power wisely...Or don't. It's all up to you. Have fun kid!"
Jaden just stood still as a statue for the longest time, unable to believe that he basically had the power of a god in his hands.
The dual hair coloured duellist was half tempted to leave the notebook where he found it and run like hell, but all his instincts told him that would be a bad idea for two reasons. One: He didn't want to risk pissing off what was clearly a powerful and possible sentient object. And two: If this thing turned out to be legit then he'd have to be the biggest idiot on Earth if he got rid of it.
The only thing that really prevented him from using the notebook at that moment was the fact that he didn't have anything to write with.
"This would've been a lot sweeter if this notebook came with a pen or pencil," Jaden said before he made his way back to the Slifer Red Dorm.
