Chapter #3

Protesting For Tiny Rights With Grace

    by: Unknown
After a few more moments of thinking, you recalled why you'd come to Weston today. Or, perhaps that was giving yourself too much credit, as the actual reason you remembered your summons was because you saw the cluster of bright red tarps and three-feet tall signs that proudly declared 'WESTON AFFECTED-STUDENT PROTEST'.

You were here to lend your support to Grace Morrow's protest.

Grace, the affected daughter of your good friends Selena and Viola, was one-of-a-kind. An absolutely unstoppable affected, she was the dictionary definition of stubborn, determined, selfless, courageous, brilliant, and justice-seeking. From a very young age she'd dedicated herself to fighting injustice against affected, and championing the rights of all tinies across the globe. And she really put the act in activist, spending the majority of her free time campaigning for pro-tiny policies on the Weston campus and around the Oakland area at large.

And she had big dreams too, dreams that inspired you just as much as her fellow peers on the college campus. She was majoring in Public Policy, and was eyeing a seat on the Oakland council after her graduation, her eyes glimmering with the possibility of how much good she could do for the local affected population if she was elected. She was already a darling amongst every affected around for miles, and she'd made considerable waves online too thanks to a burgeoning social media presence, and being featured in advertisements and endorsements from her mothers on their Oasis social media outlets.

It certainly wasn't easy for her to make headway, especially in Oakland, which was one of the last bastions of the CTC in the state of Maryland. General consensus among the local population of unaffected wavered somewhere in the 'undecided' range, but a lot of the movers and shakers amongst the local politicians favored CTC and anti-tiny policies. Not to mention the Weston student body itself, which was comprised almost entirely of unaffected either ignorant of the tinies beneath them, apathetic to their plights, or downright malicious in their treatment of them. Some good eggs existed, but they were few and far between.

And none were worse than the Omega Gamma Phi sorority, Persephone Graham and Ivy Green queen bees of tiny torture at the top of that totem pole. And Dean Penelope let it all slide with a cruel smirk on her face...which is why Penelope was Grace's bitter rival, and her lifelong dream was to see Penelope disgraced and thrown to the wolves while Grace helped to guide her fellow affected towards the life of equality they'd all always dreamed of.

You finally made it over to the protest area, taking in the sights before addressing Grace herself.

She'd assembled an impressive setup, for what it was worth. There were about three eight-by-eight red tarps strewn out right in the middle of the expansive grassy yard of the quad, and each tent had a signpost describing the protest on it. There were even a few concession tables for thirsty and hungry protestors. On the tarps themselves were around sixty affected, mostly guys but a few girls too. They were each holding plastic funnels and shouting out about tiny equality, respecting affected rights, and being nice to others.

Ostensibly, the goal of Grace's protest was to draw attention to the discrimination, bullying, and outright torment that the affected students at Weston faced, and that was covered up and ignored by Dean Penelope and the rest of the upper management of the university. To that end, Grace had gone through all the proper channels and officially blocked off the entire quad (which could be rented by student groups and private parties), for an unlimited duration lasting as long as a single protestor remained on duty. Until then, no student groups could use the quad for their own official events, which Grace was sure would be enough of a disruption to draw attention to her protest.

The fiery-haired redhead finally caught your eye and sauntered over, her face flush from excitement. "Ah, Mister Jacobs! I'm so happy you made it! Isn't this awesome?" She asked, in her trademark high-pitched almost childish voice (an extremely sore trait you knew she hated about herself, as she felt it let others easily mock her and not take her seriously).

"It is, Grace. I'm impressed." You nodded. "I really hope this helps to spark some change."

"So do I." Grace winked. "But, at the very least, I hope it thoroughly annoys Dean Penelope. That woman can rot in hell...if you'll excuse my impropriety."

"No, no, she absolutely can." You agreed, picking up a megaphone and joining Grace and your fellow affected.

Penelope was, admittedly, thoroughly annoyed.

From the moment the little stain on her life that was Grace Morrow had appeared on campus, Penelope had hardly gone through a day without a migraine. The precocious little brat just couldn't keep her mouth shut and accept the simple truth of the world that Penelope herself had learned long ago. Life fucking sucks unless you're strong enough to fight back. And if you aren't...you need to roll over and die.

When Penelope's sisters stripped her naked and locked her outside their house in the freezing snow, Penelope had persevered. When they'd created fake dating profiles to catfish and humiliate her in front of her friends at school, thus costing her those friends, she'd internalized that hatred. When they'd stolen her hard earned allowance and mocked her for crying over it, she'd persisted. And when they'd, drunk on both alcohol and sadistic glee, had beaten her so badly she'd almost died, and then made her lie to her mom and claim she simply fell down the stairs, she'd taken it all on the chin.

But she'd done all of that not to roll over, but to sharpen her fangs to bite back.

And now, her oldest sister, a tiny named Persephone, was nothing more than a comfortable scrap of cloth, having spent the past twenty-five years as Penelope's thong, and long since gone insane from the mundanity and futility of it all. Penelope'd even named her own progeny after the girl, all as a way of further erasing the old Persephone from her mother's mind...and to her glee, she'd succeeded. And Georgia and Scarlet, the unaffected twins, were destitute (Penelope found bribing loan sharks to be so much fun), single (amazing how a little lying on social media shatters fragile relationships), and hopeless (nor did they have a clue Penelope had been behind their falls from grace).

So, to a degree, Penelope admired Grace's drive...but the tiny had bitten off more than she could chew this time. Penelope had proven to the world she could fight whatever it threw at her, and she wasn't stopping now.

With a flurry of typing, she sent off a mass text to all unaffected students on campus.

'Fun little protest happening on the quad. Go ahead and give it some crushing support! Everyone welcome, and bring your friends. Make a day of it!'

Penelope smirked.

*****

The first thirty minutes of the protest went well...until you and Grace paused as a veritable earthquake shook you both. It was as if an entire stampede of giantesses were on their way over, and soon enough, shadows washed over you and the other protesters. You turned to look at who had arrived.

1) It's members of the Omega Gamma Phi sorority, led by Ivy. With the way those girls are smirking, you know this can't go well.

2) It's members of the women's volleyball team, who genuinely have no issue with your protest. However, per Dean Penelope's message, they'd come to 'show solidarity' by practicing their game right beside your protest. You can't see that working out, but aren't able to dissuade them from trying anyway.

3) It's a group of lovely but extremely dangerous girls from the 'Love All Tinies' club. They're here to protest with you, and are far too committed and passionate to be convinced otherwise. Trouble is, despite their claims at being 'pro-tiny', they're more like a group of girls obsessed with teasing and kissing tinies. And given their penchant for also being oblivious, ditzy, and clumsy as all hell, how long before the protest is completely derailed by these well-intentioned airheads?
