Kim wakes up on a beautiful morning in her house. Its summer break for her university and so she's at her lovely home. Saving the world finally earned her a place of her own and this house was a real big beauty. It's no mansion since if she could Kim didn't want such an enormous place, but its still certainly more than most girls at the end of their teens would have.
Kim really wanted to get out of bed and rush into what the day would bring. However, a bit of negativity was surrounding her at the moment relating to her boyfriend. Ron was away somewhere and she didn't know where or why. He said that there was nothing to worry about but memories of the trouble he'd gotten into over the years made that less reassuring.
She could ask Wade to find out where Ron is and what he is doing but she'd promised herself that she would respect the privacy of Ron from now on, most of the time anyway. But he was only a few days from being back anyway, and then will be spending the rest of summer with her. She looked in her bedside drawer and pulled the ring that she was going to use to propose to Ron upon his return. "I really miss him" she said to herself "but soon he'll be by my side again and this ring will be on his finger. I just got to stay busy until we're back together."
