The next morning, they woke up feeling refreshed. Karl, now identifying as Kate, decided to wear a loose-fitting t-shirt and sweatpants, feeling self-conscious about her new curves. They headed out to find breakfast, with Connor offering to drive since Karl wasn't used to the new... "anatomy" yet.
Over eggs and toast, they discussed their options. They could try to find a way to reverse the spell that had been cast on them, or they could embrace their new identities and try to make the best of the situation. Karl, still struggling with the idea of being a girl, was leaning more towards finding a way to change back. Connor, on the other hand, seemed more open-minded and willing to give it a shot.
After breakfast, they headed back to the motel to get some rest before continuing their journey. Karl, feeling self-conscious about his new body, changed into a loose-fitting tank top and shorts before climbing into bed. As they lay there, Connor tentatively reached out and placed a hand on Karl's arm.
