The Beginning

For years now there have been reports of people suddenly shrinking overnight, waking up in strange places with no recollection of what happened to them or how they got where they were. Scientists have tried to find a cure but to no avail. Humanity has named those afflicted 'Tinies' and made a...very small...effort to protect their rights as people. Though it's quite hard to advocate for the rights of someone you can hardly hear...

A greater majority of the population have come to the conclusion that these tinies don't have any rights any more and instead are solely to be used as toys or snacks by the ones lucky enough to find them. This has driven up a market on tinies, some even going so far as to sell their friends or family members due to the riches they gain from the sale.

Four girls had made a pact with one another, that none of them would turn any of the others in if they were to suddenly shrink. Unfortunately for them, the next morning all of these girls had shrunk down to the height of four inches tall all separated in different locations.
