There was some tough ground-level resistance.

Naturally, the law wasn't well received in some of the tougher neighbourhoods. With machismo being strongly engrained into the criminal societies. The roles for women were already rather clearly defined, the possibility of being 'demoted to being a bitch' wasn't something any of the gang members wanted.

The higher-ups tended to keep themselves clear of anything that could invite a 'Fem' punishment. However that was a rapidly expanding category of offences. Many were living opulently in their bimbo-filled mansions, and reaping the benefits of the 'Fem Solution'. Their lieutenants were somewhat less comfortable, being able to identify one of two of their former colleagues in now very different roles.
