Cameron and Liam are two 20-year-olds, inseparable friends since childhood, so much so that they often refer to them as brothers. Cameron is athletically built, with brown hair and green eyes full of determination. He has always been the more outgoing and optimistic of the two, known for his ability to find the positive side of any situation. He is passionate about football and has played as a striker for the local team for years, which has taught him discipline and teamwork.
Liam, in contrast, is more reserved and thoughtful. He has black hair and blue eyes that reveal a deep intelligence. Since he was little, he has shown a great interest in technology and computing, devoting hours to programming and software development. Although he is more introverted, his friendship with Cameron has been a fundamental pillar in his life, helping him to get out of his comfort zone and enjoy social interactions more.
Both are children of changed mothers, Cameron being a Housewife and Liam a stripper. It's not that they are against the law, because government propaganda has made them see that it is necessary, although they have certain doubts.
Today was the day and they both met early, after having breakfast, both nervous. They met and went to the bus stop while talking as if today was not important and as if they were both going to pass the test. They had even agreed to have dinner tonight and celebrate that they will have a good life.
They both arrived at the reassignment center and got in line, Cameron went before Liam. And finally it was their turn.
