You were scooped up to eye level but Jiayi was gentle enough to not even squish you when she picked you up. “Who might you be little one? You’re not an employee.” She seemed just curious perhaps thinking you might have been a customer that got lost, after all Leng Garden actually had affected exclusive services as well though they were typically left unoccupied and as the hostess she would have known about another reservation for that side.
You let out a relieved sigh that she didn’t have any sort of weird assumptions just based on seeing you. “Sorry, I’m actually Matt Jacobs. I’m the one that sent the first part of the deposit but things got a little out of hand and I don’t think Mom or any of the others noticed I’m here.” You scratched the back of your head not having wanted to tag along and embarrassed to have to explain that to a stranger.
Jiayi put a hand up to her mouth slightly shocked she had no idea that one of the Jacobs children would have shown up too. But long interactions with Daiyu as her boss had somewhat messed up the way that she understood tiny children showed affection to their mothers and other women in general. Thus her understanding of the situation was completely wrong which you found out when she explained her logic out loud. “So you snuck out here so that you could use yourself to upgrade the full care package without spending extra for one of our employees to take the role. That’s such a thoughtful thing for a son to do! Especially when his friend's mothers are included that’s a lot of extra work.” she exclaimed
Your eyes widened and you waved a cross in front of yourself. “N-no that’s not it at all! My sister just tossed me onto mom’s seat at the last minute.”
Her eyes softened and you thought she might have understood but once again her understanding was wildly inaccurate. “There’s no need to be embarrassed, I’m sure your mother would be thrilled and the other ladies would certainly appreciate it.”
You put your hands in your face. “No! I seriously don’t want that you have to understand!”
She looked thoughtful and turned her head towards the bathroom where all the Mothers were and back to you. “Well… Okay, If that’s how it really is then I’ll be sure to keep your help a secret, it shouldn’t be that hard once things get started.”
You went to clarify much more clearly this time but before you could start that the door to the bathroom started opening and Jiayi clenched her fist over you to prevent your discovery. Cass was first out, of course it would be the aura of chaos around her that got you at the last second. Once all the ladies were out Jiayi smiled at them. “Well dear customers what activity would you like to enjoy first so that I may prepare it?” Of course each of them could do any of the activities in any order so a small discussion between them on if they would all go for the same things at the same time or split up. Eventually, it was decided that they would split into groups but get massages individually so two groups of two while one of them got a massage and then a final regroup at one of the last things.
Jiayi nodded at the plans and updated her tabet with how the day would proceed so the employees would be updated. She started leading them to the places they had selected and wondered which one she should include you in first.
1. Jiayi decides that of course, you should start with your own mother first though she is paired up with Bea at the Manicure and Pedicure station.
2. Jiayi thinks you’d be best at the Massage station and Cass is up first!
3. Cynthia and Rio are headed to the Sauna and Jiayi has the perfect roll for you to join them
4. Lauren wants to hit the hotsprings with everyone first, luckily Jiayi knows how the ladies can get the most out of you.
5. Daiyu notices you’ve been added to the itinerary and decides to take charge of you personally.
