This choice: The Pink one that seemed to glow brighter the longer you pressed onto it  •  Go Back...
Chapter #6

That's a Bright Idea

    by: Hole Author IconMail Icon
Your hand fell onto a pink crystal, which seemed to glow brighter and brighter the longer you held onto it. Until suddenly, you're blinded by a flash of light.

"Ow, fuck!"

You roll back and shut your eyes to protect them from the sudden flash bang of a crystal, sitting on your exposed rear. You try rubbing your eyes with your hands, but strangely, only your left hand responds and does its task. After your eyes adjust, you look over to your right side to see why you suddenly can't feel it.

The problem is obvious: It's not there. The right sleeve of your t-shirt lazy slumps down, covering your empty shoulder, with no arm inside to support it. You blink, and sit quietly for what feels like minutes, but really is only seconds. Then you scream your heart out.

"Oh god, where is it? Where is it?!" you yell, looking around in some irrational hope that you can at least find your limb. But it's no where in sight. It's completely gone. You do, however, find the pink crystal that took it from you.

It still looks as inconspicuous as before, but it's clear that the crystal is what disarmed you. It hits you that all the crystals might have similar body altering affects, and with your slip up, you were lucky to only lose one arm. You'll have to be more careful if you want to avoid any more of these magic, transformation crystals. Speaking of which, in all the commotion, you didn't happen to place another part of your body on another crystal, did you?

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. Yes, on a green crystal

*Noteb*
2. Yes, on a blue crystal

*Noteb*
3. Yes, on another pink crystal

*Noteb*
4. Yes, on a yellow/orange crystal

*Noteb*
5. Nope, you're good

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
