As you made your way through the hedge maze, your path always turning and twisting to the point of losing track of where you are ideally, not like you had a clue in the first place, you came across something new that diverse the same scenery of leafs and flowers, to a massive plant sitting in the middle of the path.
It was a flower, but it was massive, the whole plant being as big- if not bigger, than you are, with the flower itself looking like a massive bed of sorts, almost like a large sunflower, but it wasn't one, at least it didn't look anything like a sunflower.
Actually, it looked more like a huge daisy, with the center of the flower itself being bright yellow and soft looking. However, the peddles were not white, but rather a pink coloration instead. It was surrounded by plenty of smaller flowers of similar fashion, Daisy looking flowers all varied in brightness of pinks, some so deep that they almost look purple... or red.
The thing itself looked big enough that if you wanted, you could lay on the flower comfortably, though you dont know if the plant could hold your figure. The stem of the plant was about as thick as your legs put together, with a large bulbous forming right underneath the flower itself.
You looked around it, you could see past the flower and saw what looked to be the end of the maze, or so you hoped, so maybe you could try to get past it as it doesnt seem to be as thick as the hedge itself, and it doesnt seem to sprout thorns when you get close to it... but you still would have to fight your way through.
Taking a step back, you look about to see if maybe you can find a way around, and in your small glance over, you noticed a few different things.
First, not too far behind you were some gardening tools on the soft ground; gloves, hedge trimmers, and a pair of goggles? Wonder how they got here, and how you missed them in the first place.... but than again, the large flower did take presence considering its size.
the next thing took you a little more effort to find, as on the wall of the hedge maze, you see something alive; a small green and white bug thing, it looked like a caterpillar of sorts, munching on the leaf... actually, in a blink the leaf was devoured and the creature had moved onto the next spot... But just as quickly as it ate, the hedge grew more leafs back, so this thing eating a way out isnt an option... but maybe it could do something about the flower itself...
No... that would be silly... but than again...
Before you could make another thought, you swear you just saw the flower itself twitch... there wasnt any wind in this cramped foggy maze, so something had just moved either through or around the plant... But you dont see anything...
You than hear some noise behind you, and turned to see that the hedge had just blocked off your path from going backwards... shit.
You get the feeling that you don't want to stick around and find out what it was that was lurking here, but at this point, you have a few options; get past the flowe,r or remove it... can it be removed though?
