Intro

Jake arrived home from school and dropped his bagpack by the door. He headed for the kitchen, hungry after a long day. On the way, he was greeted by his family's dog, Gary, who tried to jump on him. He pushed him out of the way, but the pesky pit bull followed him anyway. Jake never understood why his family loved him so much. He was a stupid, annoying animal.

In the kitchen, he looked in the pantry for a snack. He grabbed a bag of chips and went into the living room, where he sat down and turned on the TV. Gary was watching him eat, which annoyed him. Jake held out a chip and pretended to give it to him before snatching it back and eating it slowly, mocking him. Gary let out a growl and then barked. Jake laughed before suddenly feeling drowsy. He fell asleep, and when he awoke, he was...
