The Lie

"It's been over a year. You dropped out of school and devoted yourself completely to dance. You've been taking hormones. You are developing breasts, as well as wide hips and a bubble butt. Oh, next month you are going into the hospital to have your little wee-wee removed," your sister explained.

"This can't be true," you cried. You looked down at your chest to see little bumps. Your hands flew to your chest. You could feel the cushiony bra under your hands.

"Oh, it is. You think I could change everything overnight?"
