It was really hard for my parents to potty train me, as I wanted to stay in diapers. I wasn’t potty trained until I was 5, when I went to kindergarten and everyone made fun of me for not being potty trained. I sucked my thumb until I was 10, when I was made fun of in school. I watched shows like Barney and Sesame Street until I was 13, when a friend made fun of me for it. On my 18th birthday, I got a strange gift from my aunt Helen. It was a microphone with a single button on it. She told me that if I held the button and talked into the microphone, whatever I said would come true. I held it, and said “no one will ever notice the microphone or anything that happens with it.” That way, no one would notice anything was wrong or take the microphone from me.
