Lily got out of the taxi. The taxi driver unloaded his luggage from the trunk. The girl gratefully gave the money to the man, who got back into the car and drove away. Lily was left alone with her bags in front of the house. She moved out of here two years ago. When she was 16, her mother died. Her stepfather took care of her until she came of age. Then she moved into the house inherited from her mother. For two years she was fine alone. She attended university and worked part-time to support herself. But recently, a couple of unpleasant things happened that turned the girl's life upside down. Because of this, she had to sell her house, luckily her stepfather offered her to move back in with them.
So now she was standing here in front of the house. In front of the house where she has lived since she was 12 years old. She's mother married a man who already had two sons. This is how Lily got two step-brothers. The two boys are now 16 and 13 years old.
Lily liked her stepfather and got along well with her stepbrothers, but it was good for her to move out of the house because she had a little trouble finding her place in the family after her mother's death.
