As they prepared to move in, Jonah started to do some research on the neighborhood and the house. The bid had gone in so fast because of the market, they didn't have the time before putting it in.
He soon found why the house may have been well priced, there had been a couple of random, weird deaths in the house, spaced apart about 10 and 20 years ago. The deaths were never fully explained, but two young women had both died unexpectedly.
But he shrugged it off, both deaths had been women, and neither of them had been a woman.
When they moved into the house, the move in was smooth, both men loved movies and had their set of movie memorabilia as well as dark tones, both men were overall neat and clean and tried to keep things organized.
They had had a pair of friends help with the move in and after some delivered pizza and beers the friends had left, leaving Jonah and Alex alone in the house. Alex was putting clothes away in his closet when he knocked against the back wall, there was a hollow sound. He hit it again, and then felt around, finding a little latch. He opened up a secret compartment in the wall. In it he found a medium sized box. He pulled the box out and opened it up. There was a small journal, some women's jewelry, and some clothes.
