The Flock was founded a decade ago by a group of refugees fleeing a disaster in the north, and has set itself up as wandering Theocractic group. Its founders, Head Priestess Forneus, and her two sons Baal the Warrior and Aym the Scholar, believe that the groups miraculous continued survival was thanks to a mysterious "God of Outcasts" called the Shepherd.
Now, hoping to set up a holy city for their followers, they have chosen a Lamb who discovered a holy symbol of the Shepherd to lead the expedition, re-christening this follower Red Crown. So far, in the unclaimed (excluding by humans) lands, they have begun setting up a small village...
Narinder's Assistant
Narinder is the right-hand of Red Crown, a cat with a 3rd eye branded into his head by a group of slavers that the Flock rescued him from. He is...less than happy to be overlooked in favor of Red Crown and often plots to take control of the cult away from the lamb...somehow. Much of the unhappy right hand cat's frustration is taken out on his assistant and "friend", Nihil. Despite his unfortunate position the human does look up to Narinder...
Osiris' Apprentice
Osiris is a member of the famous Mao family of adventurers and the elder sister of Mao Mao. Her piercing gaze is infamously chilling enough to end fights before her opponent even manages to raise a blade...and she originally came to the Flock to spy on them, and learn whether or not they would be a threat. She has found that the Mao Family's philosophy is very similar to the Flocks and has even debated joining it, to the frustration of her human "apprentice" (Read-Pet) Aya, a human woman who is very dependent on her "teacher" and not as eager to join a cult.
The Lamb's Little Jewel
Red Crown's best friend is Little Jewel, a human he has known for years even before joining this cult(and again, is basically Red Crown's Pet). Little Jewel was given a new name when his "friend" took one, and is more than happy to be Crown's stress relief.
The New Convert
A human has recently joined the Flock and navigates the mostly macro cult, trying to learn how to do their best among the unwanted black sheep of other nations and try not to get underfoot
