Marie was beginning to think that the vacation package she bought might have been a scam.
Redd Industries had seemed fairly reputable from what she could tell, but when she was dropped off from a somewhat underwhelming boat onto an Island, told 'Good luck' and left their alone on the beach, only to then have to dodge being under the foot of the miles-tall Macros who had suddenly shown up on the "totally legit human resort town" she had scored a trip to, it was a very, very easy trap to fall into.
Her phone had died on the boat so she was more or less stranded unless she could get somebodies help. And, standing alone on the beach, the many-miles tall buildings in the distance, she was faced with a decision.
Should she go...
West along the beach?
Its still early in the morning but if this is a vacation destination, Marie might be able to catch the attention of some of the earlybird guests and get some help? A fenced off portion of the beach with exercise equipment and a basketball court is visible in the distance and its a likely place for sportier individuals to go to even early in the morning...
East along the beach
This way leads to an obvious picnic spot, could be easy to catch some earlier breakfast picnickers?
North into town?
Well, with all the businesses and even a local town hall just opening up now, could be easy to get attention from someone there. Might even be able to slip under the door of the hotel and hang out in an uninhabited room, worse comes to worse.
Northeast into an apparent suburbs
Or go straight to the source of people and to the houses near the town?
