“Well, we might as well-“
But before Quentin could finish, the two of them heard the sound of a door opening. While Quentin scrambled around to find somewhere to hide, Beta stood in place.
“Commander Quentin, I believe someone else is entering the room.”
“Yeah, I noticed! C’mon, hide or hold onto somewhere. Who knows what’ll happen if we’re noticed in a place like this?”
With the sound of footsteps getting louder and louder, he decides to make a break for the closest spot he can see - her necklace chain. With a leap empowered by his wings, he grabs onto the metal chain and tries his best to hide behind it. Meanwhile, Beta calmly walked over Rangiku's breast to her top, aiming to blend in with the black material.
“Hey, you sure that’s safe? What’ll happen if she stands up?”
“Do not worry Commander Quentin, my grip strength should be more than capable of hold-“
Beta’s message is interrupted as a large shadow is cast over the both of them, with the owner of said shadow speaking up as she looks at her sleeping comrade.
“Vice-Captain Matsumoto, did you complete the forms sent to you?”
Quentin wasn’t sure who it was, but it sounded feminine and somewhat monotone. almost like Beta. Suddenly, he felt the chain begin to move as Rangiku quickly sat up. He held on with all his might as it swung from side to side.
“I-I wasn’t sleeping Nanao! Just taking a-“
Rangiku turned her head, seeing Nemu Kurotsuchi standing next to her. She breathed a sigh of relief.
“Oh, it’s just you Nemu. Geez, almost scared me for a sec!”
While the two women were engrossed in conversation, Quentin was holding on for his life to Rangiku’s necklace chain.
‘I’m glad I chose to hide here, who knows what would have happened if I picked somewhere out in the open…’
Just then, Quentin remembered where Beta had hidden. But Beta said they had a crazy strong grip strength, right? No way they’d-
Looking to the spot Beta should have been, he instead saw Beta helplessly flying through the air towards the other giantess. The sudden movement from Rangiku made her chest act like a sort of trampoline, easily launching Beta off it.
“Ah, dammit Beta. I guess that grip strength doesn’t matter too much with a size difference like this.”
Although he wanted to help, there was no chance he’d be able to catch up in time using his flight. Plus, he wasn’t in too good a spot himself right now.
But, as if to make matters worse, the giantess leaned forward just as Beta was about to make contact. The last he saw of Beta was the tiny robot flying directly into the top of the woman’s uniform, right into her somewhat large chest.
“Don’t worry Nemu, I’ll finish it later!”
The giantess, who Quentin now assumed to be named Nemu, nodded at Rangiku’s statement and walked away. He wished his robot companion luck as Nemu unknowingly carried a passenger with her in her top. Now, Quentin had his own precarious situation to deal with as Rangiku fully sat up. The necklace was his only lifeline right now, as looking down revealed a gigantic valley of flesh awaiting him.
