Mario slowly awoke from the most bizarre blackout he'd ever experienced in all his years of jumping on Koopa shells, diving through pipes, and saving damsels in distress. For some reason he couldn't quite explain, the plumber now found himself incapable of moving his limbs or turning his head! He tried screaming for someone's attention...only to make the shocking discovery that no sound had come out.
Just then, recent events came back to his memory...
Roughly an hour earlier, Mario had been training for his next Smash Bros bout in the gym of the building he shared with his fellow fighters, when his session was interrupted by the ring of the doorbell. The red-clad hero went over to answer the door, but only found an abandoned mushroom whose cap was a light shade of red. Shrugging, Mario picked up said mushroom and took a bite of it before quickly passing out.
"That's the last time I eat mushrooms off the ground..." Mario thought to himself.
The plumber suddenly felt a faint sense of hope upon seeing one of the female fighters approach his current location. However, she seemed to tower over him now...come to think of it, everything seemed much bigger in comparison to Mario!
But what had that mushroom transformed Mario into? And which female fighter was looking down at him?
