Chapter #5

A robot that looks exactly like your cousin?

    by: whatever Author IconMail Icon

“Claire!” you exclaimed in shock as you looked down the hall and you eyes widened as you saw the spitting image of your own cousin sauntering into the room!

Claire was your younger but incredibly successful cousin. She had started doing pageants and product modeling at as a girl before eventually hitting the big time! Companies from all over were pining to woken with her, to the point where you find it almost impossible to go a day without seeing an advertisement of her dressed in revealing lingerie in a store window or promoting a new product!

And now here she was, or at least her spitting image! Claire’s wavy brown hair, smooth skin, long toned legs, flat stomach, perky breasts! Everything! She strut into the room wearing a knee length pink dress with a white apron wrapped around her waist. She held a wide smile, brimming with confidence as she stepped up and standing beside Dr. Geller.

“I see you’ve recognize who we modeled the MamaBot off of,” Dr. Geller says with a smiling, assuming you had simply seen Claire’s modeling and had recognized her that way, “now that we have far more confidence in this latest model we knew we had to start on marketing. And what better way than to upgrade our tech with the body of a supermodel! And Miss Claire Prescott was the obvious choice.”

You had to admit the move made sense, however you just wished they had chosen anyone else!

‘There’s no way I can test this thing!’ You think to yourself, ‘it’s one thing if it was just a faceless robot but the last thing I want is my cousins face looking back at me while I’m being treated like a baby!’

“That uh… that makes sense I guess,” you start, trying to think of the right way to break this unfortunate news.

“I’m shocked you’re not more excited,” Brendan chimes in, seemingly noticing your apprehension, “i figured you’d be excited to be diapered and fed by a robot that looks like a model!”

“Well I am- er I would be it’s just uh…”

You hesitate a moment as you think of what to say. Obviously bringing up this issue now would present problems for the company. If Dr Geller viewed it as a conflict of interest the project would be setback again and more than likely your cousin may lose whatever deal she had with the company in the progress. Alternatively you could suck it up and just go through with it, even if it meant being babied by a robot that looked just like your cousin for whoever knows how long testing takes!

You have the following choices:

1. Stay silent about the issue

*Noteb*
2. Speak up now about the issue

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
