Melona blinked, her stomach growling. She'd been working for so long, she'd forgotten to eat... again.
This has always been a regular problem for her, to the point where every one of her mom's letters would start by asking if she'd eaten enough. Perhaps that was why she was having a particularly hard time. She moved to head towards the cafeteria... only to catch sight of her clock. Oh, it was already 11 PM, the cafeteria was closed. Damn, she'd missed her chance to have any dinner. She searched her bag, but only had a half-eaten bag of chips. That wouldn't help much.
Her stomach growled again and she frowned, looking at her wand. The food conjured by the spell, was it filling...? Did it taste good? Logically probably not, or else it would be used a lot more often, but Melona's sense of logic was marred by her own hunger. So much so that she started to consider a magic solution.
She didn't know any spells that would help, but all spells were invented by someone at some point. It was absurd to think that she of all people could invent a new spell but... She was so hungry... She was willing to try anything...
She clenched her wand, channeling as much mana as she could muster into it. As she waved it, a small trail of sparkles drifted out of it. And then, thinking hard about what she wanted, she pointed the wand...
