Melona continued her walk, when something in her peripheral vision caught her eye. She turned towards it and began to jog, when her foot caught on a tree root on the ground. She pitched forward, crashing into the sloped ground where she began to roll downwards, until coming to a stop at the base of the hill, body sore and feeling dizzy.
"Great... Just my luck." Melona sighed, slowly getting to her feet and rubbing her aching neck. As her dizziness subsided, she was finally able to get a look at her surroundings. She was still in the gardens, it turned out, but in what looked to be a deserted section. Plants sprouted up from between the cracks of the stone walkway, flowerbeds were either overgrown or dried out completely, all other foliage unkempt and disorderly. Melona was surprised to find such a run-down part of the school. What had happened here?
She walked down the pathway as she pondered this, until she reached it's end, where what was once a greenhouse stood, although now it's glass walls were broken and decaying, it's surroundings so overgrown that it was impossible to tell what had gotten in and what had gotten out. Curiosity overpowered reason, and the young witch pressed on, slowly pushing open the door and carefully stepping around the broken glass. Many of the potted plants it seemed had died a long time ago, shriveled up to the point of unrecognizability. But as she reached the furthest end of the greenhouse, she was surprised to find one pot hosting a plant that hadn't entirely died yet! A flower that looked very much like...
