Melona opened her eyes, still a little woozy from fatigue and overwhelmed from her dream. That kiss hadn't been arousing, as such, but it still made her feel full of a sensation she couldn't quite place her finger on. She barely registered herself getting out of bed and wiping the sleep out of her eyes. Her feet carried her to her mirror, driven by a compulsion to do...something. Something about the dream.
She looked into the mirror and recoiled in astonishment as she saw herself. Her once-plain eyes now were a deep green, and gleamed with a light that was almost too intense to be natural. She locked gazes with her reflection. Something else was different about her eyes. Were her pupils thinner somehow? That couldn't be it, obviously, but the way that she stared back at herself made her feel like she was being watched by a predator of some sort. It was as though her reflection was evaluating everything about her and quietly tallying up a list of traits, ranking each on a scale of one to ten. Eventually, Melona was able to look away, quickly examining the rest of her body. Nothing else had changed.
