Neela closed her eyes and felt the soft skin of the tiny body hit her palate with a slight thud. She felt his muscles tense as he grabbed at her with his tiny hands. She felt his hair flutter around her mouth. Then she swallowed the morsel whole. She felt the body slide down her throat. She listened to her heart race and the blood pumping through her arteries. The whole thing has taken just moments, but it had excited her more than she would wish to admit.
Then she opened her eyes. No one seemed to notice. She looked around. No one was paying attention to her. She leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes. There was no sign of the tiny man. Neela had eaten him. She didn't even know where a tiny man would come from. But it didn't matter. He was gone. At any rate, no one seemed to notice. She was safe. She had gotten away with it.
Then she reached her stop. She felt the train begin to slow and she stood and made her way to the doors. She saw the doors open and she stepped off the train. She was in the middle of the station. She walked up to the top of the stairs. She turned back and looked at the train as the doors closed and the train left the station. Neela shrugged and walked down the stairs to the snow covered sidewalk. The day had started well.
