Will's heart sank as Alice snatched the device from his hand. He tried to grab it back, but she was too quick for him. She looked at the device and then back at Will, a mischievous smile spreading across her face.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Alice said, tapping her finger against the device. "This looks like it could be fun."
Will felt a knot form in his stomach. What was she going to do with the device? He had only used it for a harmless prank so far, but Alice was unpredictable. He watched as she pressed the "personality switch" button and selected a random person from the class.
Suddenly, the selected student stood up and started begging the other students for spare change.
Alice grinned with satisfaction and turned back to Will. "Your turn," she said, holding out the device. "Let's see what kind of fun we can have."
