Chapter #4a magic city and a wonderful family by: right   You are 2 years old, and you manage to understand what people are saying.
You also learned a little more about your family. Your parents are powerful and high ranked mages in a magical academy.
Your father, Phillipe, is the vice president of the establishment.
Your mother, Miriam, is the head of magical research department.
And your sister, Leonie, has a good control on her magic despite being only 5.
As for you, your new name is Vivian, and you’re looking forward for the age you’ll be able to use magic.
Right now, your mom wanders with you in the city next to the academy for the first time.
From your stroller, you can see a lot of funny stuff. Buildings are looking like skyscrapers, but they are built with some colorful and limpid metal instead of steel and glass. The streets are full of stalls presenting food or magical material and people travels in carriages carried either by horses or magic.
You feel like in heaven. Mostly with people intrigued by you as the second daughter of the most powerful couple in the land. They also say you are really cute.

But the most magnificent view you have is when your mother performs a little spectacle with her magic, summoning a fire ball and levitating some water, making it dance around the flame, like a little solar system.
It was mostly a display of her dividing and reforming the masses of liquid rotating around the fire.
A show of elegance and dexterity well adapted to your new mom.
The most impressive part was when little rainbows appeared during the show followed with a water surrounding the flame, extinguishing it to conclude the final.
A lot of applause could be heard and even after the spectacle, you could hear the people praising your mom.
Some even hope you could do the same once you grow up. (You can feel a little pressured by those comments.)
After the majority of the crowed goes away, you can see your dad and Leonie coming from the other side of the street.
“What an amazing show Miriam!” says your dad full of admiration, “You never stop impressing me.”
“You’re quite impressive too, Phil.” retorts your mother full of affection
Leonie rush to your mother. “Mom! Look! I can control fire too!”
The little girl summons a little fire ball the size of her little fists before dropping it in the bucket of water.
Nothing impressive compared to your mother but quite rare from a novice mage. Your mom proudly pats your sister’s head.
“Great job Leonie, I’m looking forward to what you will do when once you grow up.”
“Mom! There is a doll show next building! Can I go see it with Vivian?” asks the enthusiast kid.
“Of course!” answers your mom “Be careful with your sister.”
“OK!”
Your sister takes the stroller, and leads the way to the show, followed by your parents walking hand in hand.
You feel happy, you have all you could wish for a great life.
Your mother loves you, your father is proud of his family, and your sister wants to have fun with you. It feels like only good things could happen from now on.
