You marked a star next to the whirlpool on the map. If there really was an undersea city, then that’d be an entirely new world for you to explore! Your adventuring instincts were telling you that out of all the options, this would be the most fun. It was a little bit far, but the route there was essentially a straight line. Letting the current take your boat, you sat down and relaxed. Looking around, you saw a surprising number of boats also heading to the whirlpool. You thought this would be the most unpopular option, but it seems like a lot of people had a similar idea to you.
The journey was largely uneventful, and the whirlpool soon came into view. The organizers said it was safe to go under, but it really didn’t look that way from here. The whirlpool was huge, with every nearby current heading into it. It was too late to turn back now, as the current began gradually increasing in power. Your boat was quickly dragged into the whirlpool, sending you straight into the middle. You prepared to go underwater, but the sensation of rushing water never came. Opening your eyes, you noticed that you and your body were in some sort of… bubble. You were in fact underwater, but the bubble prevented any water from touching you. You slowly descended, watching as fish passed by you.
Looking over the side of the boat, you confirmed the story the organizers told you. In view was a gigantic city, one similar to a fishman city you visited one time. Though the fishman city was tiny compared to the size of this one. Squinting your eyes, you noticed some movement in the streets. Judging by their feminine appearance and fish-like tails, they were mermaids! You’d never seen one before, so this was definitely an exciting experience for you. As your boat descended further and further, you realized you underestimated just how big everything was. The mermaids in the streets were easily over 50ft tall!
Soon enough, you would be landing. But where exactly did you land?
