Sometime far in the past of human history, like around the bronze age at the latest, Celestia came to the human world. Reeling from the recent loss of her sister to her darkside of Nightmare Moon, and also being, well, the immortal equivalent of an emotionally immature teenager, she...may have gone on a slight...major rampage that set back human civilization for a few centuries and permanently ingraved her image as the face of pure evil.
In this scenario, Celestia lives up to this particular reputation. Having brought some captive humans along with her, but through centuries of torture, only one was able to make it to the modern day...via magically extended life but still.
