Just Another Day

After conducting numerous experiments with the shrink ray, I realize that I should probably focus on my pending homework. Determined to complete my calculus assignment and English term paper, I toil away throughout the night. The clock ticks relentlessly, and it's not until I finish brushing my teeth and washing my face that I notice it's nearly midnight. Exhaustion washes over me, and I succumb to the embrace of sleep.

The piercing sound of my alarm jolts me awake. The night has been filled with peculiar dreams, one of which involved me shrinking and finding myself submerged in my sister's cereal bowl. Shaking off the remnants of sleep, I shake myself into action and prepare for school. Before leaving, I carefully slip the shrink ray into my pocket, eager to share it with my friend Jake later. The morning progresses uneventfully, until...
