Well, that was that. As amazing as the wishstone was, it wasn't like you could just sit here and ponder the mystery rock in your hands. School was starting soon, and you had a schedule to keep.
Let's see... if you remembered correctly Ava wanted your help this evening to go with her on another one of her 'mystery hunts.' The two of you had never found anything yet, but... maybe this time you'd see something actually supernatural.
Would the wishstone work for something like that? Would you actually be able to make a wish like 'please let something mysterious and supernatural appear before Ava and me tonight.'
Hmm... now that you thought about it, you could just show the wishstone to her. She might want to examine it... though on second thought you had a feeling that it was probably better to keep your magical rock to yourself.
Now that your train of thought had reached its destination, it was time to head out. Grabbing your school bag, you exited your house.
And almost immediately came to a screeching halt, only narrowly avoiding crashing into Izumi's enormous breasts!
Why in the world was she here? You'd been planning on avoiding her like the plague for the next few days (even though you kinda wanted to watch what your wish did to her rear.)
"Um... hi, Shujin."
"...Hi."
"Do you... do you want to walk to school with me?"
Huh, this was... unexpected. You never would've expected Izumi to voluntarily seek you out, especially after how your last interaction had gone.
Maybe... maybe you'd thought of her too harshly. You really didn't know her too well, up till now you'd only really had five or six meaningful interactions with her. She'd come off as a gorgeous but quick-tempered beauty, and more importantly as someone who was more likely to shoot first (or in her case, slap), and ask questions later.
"How... how are you feeling?"
Okay, you'd definitely misjudged her. The look on Izumi's face was hard to read, but the tone of her voice had the faintest bit of concern tinging it.
"Alright, I guess. My face was pretty sore all Saturday, and I got some weird looks about the bruise, but it's mostly faded by now."
"I-I see... I, um... I guess I hit you harder than I meant to... sorry" Izumi said, actually wincing when she realized that her handprint was still faintly visible on your face.
The two of you stood there in an awkward silence for a few more moments, before Izumi spoke up again.
"L-listen, I'm... I'm trying to get some practice in this afternoon with something, and I was thinking... maybe you'd want to help out?"
For a second, you thought about questioning her (like wondering what exactly she wanted your help with.) But then you decided that it was clearly better not to question it- you weren't dumb enough to decline the olive branch (meaning peace offering) that Izumi was clearly extending to you.
"Sure. Sounds good." You did your best to keep your voice neutral, but inwardly you felt glad that getting an accidental look up her skirt had permanently damaged your chance at a friendship (or more) with her.
Izumi must've been feeling something similar, because the unreadable look on her face cracked slightly allowing you to see (even briefly) a visibly relieved look on her face.
"Great! I mean, that's great. Meet me in room 204 at 3:30! Now let's go! School will start soon!" Izumi stated, turning on her heel and beginning to march away.
That was your queue to follow after her, no point in lagging behind!

What happens next?
1) Play around with the wishstone a bit during school. You aren't going to do anything over the top, but there's nothing wrong with some harmless fun.
2) Eh, you're drawing a blank right now. Might as well save the wishstone for some after school wishin'
