"Richard," he heard is name as he was leaving. He turned back to see Rin, now alone. "I apologize for Akio's behaviour," she said. "She is a bit too interested in tickling," she said, while eyeing Richard. He gulped. He wondered if she meant anything by that. Did Akio have a fetish for tickling? Maybe, but why would Rin give that away to someone she barely knew? Unless somehow she suspected that he had a tickle fetish too... but how would she know that? And if she did know... Richard didn't know how he felt about that.
"It's okay," he said. "What's up?"
"I wanted to ask you something, if that's okay. I don't have many friends on campus, besides Akio, but seeing how you came over to our table, maybe you wouldn't mind spending some more time with me."
"Sure." He didn't know what she was getting at, but he didn't mind making a new friend either way. "Shoot."
