Derek woke up bright and early that day, reading to begin his usual routine of going around the building and seeing if anything needed repairs.

First thing was first though: he needed to make sure all his tools were working order.

“Okay, let’s check if the drill still works.” The last days, Derek’s electric drill had been acting screwy. He activated the machine to test it…and smoke immensely started coming out of it. “Yikes. Okay that’s a no.”

Derek then took note of other equipment and made up a list of what he needed. He was ready to head to the hardware store…but then his stomach growled.

“Guess I should get something to eat. But what should I do first?”
