In the future of 2375, some women find keeping their waistlines intact rather difficult

This choice: A stroll around the food stands to find something unique.  •  Go Back...
Chapter #3

Milky Way'd

    by: Keroro04 Author IconMail Icon
"Pizza! Pizza by the slice!"

"Only available for a limited time, try these Angel Waffles! These sweet waffles are infused with caffeine for that extra kick in the morning!"

"Khlav Kalash! Khlav Kalash! No bowl, stick! Stick!"

As Sally walked around the corner, her ears were hit with the noises of various vendors all arguing for their dominance within the region. Most of these mobile stands and food trucks served not just in this part of 0B but to other regions around or nearby the city as well from 6G's South Side to the Dustbowl and even the Lake Loftier boardwalk. The food stand business was as lively as it was dangerous however, and as they yelled out for attention the beautiful maiden saw that they were all glaring at each other.

All except for one.

"Ah finally, open for business. Time to show people the power of these shakes of mine."

Lumbering over this stand was a woman who was quite possibly the biggest woman she had ever seen. Standing at what she could assume was just barely over 6 and a half feet tall, she was very much stacked as a woman, and carried with her an absolute barrel of a gut. Oddly enough these two were connected by wires, and as Sally got closer to the stand itself she could hear loud vibrations coming from within her body.

Was she a cyborg? Maybe she was a robot with a very flesh-like body who just so happened to know how to cook. But then again, if she was serving customers and doing this on her own she could also just be a cyborg with her own free will. In the end, Sally ended up losing track of time as she stared into this woman's chest... up until she broke the silence.

"Admiring the craftsmanship?"

"Uh... well..." Realizing what she did, Sally's face turned beet red as she covered her eyes in shame. "Look I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! It's just... your the biggest woman I've seen! Okay?"

"You're fine!" The vendor replied, giving a hearty slap to her chest and causing her overalls to shake a bit. From the bouncing, it was clear that she was braless at the time. "These things are biomechanical anyhow! I'm what you'd call a hardcore shake enthusiast, ya see. These udders are pretty fat indeed but I also got myself a tube in here, which connects to my gut. Down there, under these clothes I got cybernetic implants to hold ice cream there which can transfer up to these breasts for some "special serving", though obviously that kind of creamy goodness is off-limits except in private."

Starting to back away, Sally was reconsidering going to the Khlav Kalash stand instead and risk it all on the mystery meat. Perhaps if things had went a bit different she'd have succeeded in doing so and not embarrass herself in front of this obviously exhibitionist woman, but the woman's surprising speed allowed her to catch Sally by the hand before she could run away. In her other hand, she pulled forth a single scoop of Rocky Road.

"Please, before you go anywhere else... it's on the house."

Seeing that she wasn't going to let go until she took that bite, Sally cautiously brought that scoop towards her mouth and took it all down in a single gulp. From that single bite alone, Sally nearly collapsed as her tongue was hit with an endless assault of the sweetest, most out of this world taste that she had ever experienced in her life. The fluffiness of the marshmallows, the richness of the chocolate and the crunchiness of the almond nuts, all of it together was perfectly mixed together into something that she had never tasted before.

And she needed more.

"Oh... Oh goodness..."

"Yeah, it's the best ain't it?" Slowly pulling Sally back to the stand, the woman pointed to her name tag as she tried to make a better first impression. "Sorry about earlier, you were looking and my ma always taught me to always be honest... I guess ya city slickers ain't used to such casual talks as talking about one's body and hobbies. Anyhow, the name's Betsy Almae! We're from the South Side of 6G, where all them crops grow."

"Uh... nice to meet you, Betsy." Still a bit cautious, at the very least Sally was starting to understand this woman as she looked down to the name on the stall. "So... this is called Milky Way Shakes?"

"Yep! Made of all-natural ingredients! No synthetic milks or other ingredients in any of this here stuff! And it's all kept cold in the freezer down here!" Reaching down behind the counter, Betsy pulled a section outward revealing a whole smorgasbord of ice cream flavors. "We usually carry out 15 different flavors, each holding about ten to twenty gallons! Thank goodness for these anti-grav wheels, or I'd never be able to carry this stand across the region!"

Looking at the wide selection of flavors, Sally was absolutely floored at the variety she saw. There was of course the standard vanilla and chocolate shakes, but then there was Banana Sundaes, Reese's, Oreos and the ever impressive Birthday Cake. But then there were the more impressive and creative shakes such as the Mint Smore's and the Campfire Trail Mix flavors which certainly looked complicated to make with how much stuff looked to be mixed.

The one that really caught her eye was the Milky Way flavor. It was a black-covered flavor with mixed in white swirls, with Reese's Pieces mixed in to simulate stars in the sky. According to the sign, it as well as the Vanilla and Chocolate were the only static flavors for the day. Because of that, she assumed that it must have been very popular to be made and served every day and that alone was enough to get her to want to try.

"Wow... all of these flavors... Oh! This Milky Way, what flavors are the colors?"

"Well the black ice cream is Blackberry, which I get fresh off the farm! The white stuff meanwhile is not vanilla but white chocolate. The combined flavors make for a very rich and powerful taste, which the peanut butter in these little candies balance out. Ya still interested?"

Seeing Sally only give out a nod of acceptance in response, Betsy cracked her knuckles as she got started on making a proper shake. With a 40 oz cup in one hand and a scoop in the other, she'd quickly pour some chocolate milk in the glass before scooping in and mixing the ice cream in the blender. After a few rounds of mixing and adding, the country-mannered woman slammed down the impressive sized drink onto the table with a look of contentment on her face.

"Wow... that's big." Sally replied, as she grabbed onto the cup and slid a 2000 Credit bill onto the table. It was 500 over what was asked for a shake according to the sign, but she didn't really mind letting the remainder go to the woman as a tip when money came easily to her. "I don't think I can-"

"Most people don't, at least on their first try." Betsy admitted, still smiling a bit as she cleaned and put the scoop away before grabbing the bill. "So, what's your name?"

"Uh... Sammy. Sammy... Perchinko."

"Well Ms. Perchinko, hope you enjoy your shake. Let me know how much it tastes, our family always loves the feedback!"

Walking her way to the nearest table, Sally grabbed a spoon and slowly made her way through the mammoth shake that she had been given. With each scoopful she felt her stomach push out just a little bit more, and yet in spite of the brain freezes and the eventual fullness that came from eating a great amount of milkshake, she still managed to get through two thirds of the damn thing before she felt like she couldn't fit anything else in there.

Dumping the cup's remaining contents in the trash can, Sally took a good picture of the Milky Way logo on her phone and saved it to remind her for later. Betsy was a bit weird, but that was the most tasteful thing she had ever experienced, and it wasn't even from some fancy diner or expensive eatery! It was just some small, single location stand that travelled the streets! And that ice cream... oh god that ice cream.

She wanted it, and bad. She wanted to fund the continued support of Milky Way into a big and wonderful company cause she wanted that ice cream everyday. More importantly, she felt like she could eventually get away with it considering how busy her dad was on the moon. He'd never notice if an extra company was mixed in during a overview of his business ventures, and both she and the city had something to gain from this deal!

"Oh Ms. Almae... you've truly inspired me. I wanna make you a star!"
