Superman discovers a new form of kryptonite which makes your muscles and height increase dramatically. Superman quickly becomes addicted to using this kryptonite. At first, Superman is ecstatic about this new discovery, as it allows him to become even stronger than before. However, as his addiction grows, Superman starts to neglect his duties, becoming more and more obsessed with his own image, and less interested in performing his heroic duties.
Superman makes sure to keep in constant proximity to the kryptonite, even in his sleep. the results are astounding.
He becomes too large for his superhero costume, and not as in 'its a bit tight I should probably let it out a bit', more like 'I can't even get a single one of my limbs inside this tiny thing!'. The rest of the justice league is getting quite worried. Batman and Wonder Woman try to talk to Superman about his addiction, but he doesn't want to listen. He says that this new kryptonite is making him stronger and he doesn't need their help.
The kryptonite is destroying Superman's very identity, but he doesn't care. He's so addicted to the power it's giving him that he doesn't want to stop using it. The justice league is getting desperate. They know they need to stop Superman before it's too late.
