All Expenses Paid Couples Resort

Arriving at your shared room, you find it to be utterly luxurious compared to anything you ever seen in person with one minor issue. In the center of your room is a single King sized bed.

"What's the deal with this?" you ask confused.

"Oh did I forget to mention" your mother responds, "The tickets they gave us were meant for couples. I didn't want to say anything because we were lucky to even get those tickets in the first place."

You sigh, "I guess I can go to the front desk and ask for a different room".

"No you won't" your mother says sternly "all the benefits of our trip are tied to this room, if we transfer out we'll be stuck covering everything ourselves".

"Fine" you mutter "I can pile some sheets on the floor-"

"What's gotten into you" your mom shouts almost sounding offended "we've slept in the same bed plenty of times when you were a kid, and as long as we're here I'm not letting you waste a single luxury this place offers."

You think about it, in spite of what your mother claims you cannot not remember a single time you and your mother have slept in the same room, let alone bed. Instead painful memories flood into your mind, of all the nights you spent alone while your mother was at work. Now might be the only time you get to forge a real connection with your mother, then again it might also be the best chance you'll have at getting back at her.
