Abigail wants another height check

It's the next day at school, but Abigail wants another height check. Their teacher says "Ok Take off your shoes, make sure your heels are touching, and stand straight." He puts a book on their heads and a ball on top of the book. After a full minute, the ball hasn't moved, showing that are the same height exactly. What happens next?
