You're working at an oceanographic research...

The funny thing is, you actually met Octavius in real life before you went to the dating site.

After you got your degree in marine biology, you went to work at the Oceanographic Research Institute, where a few of your fellow scientists are sea "monsters.": This includes Octavius. You two have become good friends, but neither one of you knew the other was interested in dating outside their own species.

Upon discovery that you were both on the same dating website, you both had a good laugh, then decided to have your first date
