Approach the Bear

As she moves towards the that appeared frozen in time in the rivers shallow she noticed something odd. The water around the bear barely moves. As it ran in his direction it seemed to slow to a crawl, appearing as motionless as him on the surface. The bear him didn't seem as lifeless as he appeared at a distance. His eye's held an immense focus on the water, locked to the still water and shifting to any ripples from the fish below. As much as she would hate it after recent events, the thought to approach the bear through the water does cross her mind. Or she could call out to him from the shore, which is a lot less effort.
