Some time ago, Coven’s Cove went by a different name and was a quaint little resort town. That was until a coven of witches decided to move in, and then proceeded to scare away most of the original inhabitants until they pretty much owned the place and saw fit to change it’s name. Tourists quickly learned to avoid the Cove like the plague, as the notoriously temperamental witches and warlocks have little qualms about testing their newest spell on any perceived trespasser. The Coven could finally conduct their dark rituals in peace, away from prying eyes...
However, somewhat recently a variety of scientists almost exclusively of the mad variety have also moved into the small seaside town. Predictably, they have been getting along very poorly with the other more magically inclined denizens of Coven’s Cove, neither side willing to compromise or make peace and constantly trying to muscle the other out of town.
But I digress. Which side have you ended up on? magic or science?
Gloom and Doom
You've come under the possession of Gloom, a powerful goblin witch standing at 180 feet. Her skin is a pale green and her frame is lanky, she has unkempt long black hair and usually wears just a grimy black robe. She gets a kick out of terrorizing you and assures you she has many nefarious and ghastly uses planned for you. Thankfully she’s too much of a slob to actually carry them out, and usually just uses you as a toy as she lazes about for most of the day.
It is considered Coven tradition for a witch or warlock to acquire an apprentice, something Gloom has been putting off for a long time. She ended up declaring you as her apprentice, simply to get the others off her back, but has yet to teach you anything besides how to properly massage her feet.
For Science!
Ursula van Patchwerk, 230 foot tall Gnoll and self proclaimed genius scientist who specializes in the fields of biology and reanimation. She is typically clad in a stained, tattered and burned labcoat and has a pair of thick goggles over her eyes, her mane is very shaggy even by gnoll standards, usually sports a toothy grin that is liable to erupt into maniacal laughter at the slightest provocation. She's originally from Grossestadt and has a heavy accent to match, but was chased out of her hometown by an angry mob wielding pitchforks and torches after one of her experiments ran off and caused a big ruckus.
Her assistant is a massive 300 foot tall chimera by the name of Tina, constructed by Urusla herself with mismatched parts she illegally procured from the local cemetery. Tina has the head of a lion, the curved horns of a ram, demonic wings on her back, the upper body of a werewolf and cloven legs like that of a goat. Despite her imposing stature and appearance, she is a meek soul with a gentle heart, and is often subjected to belittling from her master for said traits.
