It had been a rare peaceful day for the Flower Division. After a few cast members had passed out due to overwork, Sumire had decided that Saturday would have no show or rehearsal. Just a full day of nonstop relaxation. Which for Seijuro meant he had plans to hang out (just hang out, totally not dates) with every member of the Flower Division, Wind Division, and even every member of the foreign combat revues. Finally as moon and stars took over the night sky Seijuro made it to his last outing (again totally not a date...at least as far as he knew).
In the courtyard of the Grand Imperial Theatre sat Anastasia on a bench as her captain with an exhausted look on his face stumbled in. "Hey Anastasia, sorry I'm late. Elise was just really determined to go over training tactics with me. Hope I didn't miss it."
Anastasia smiled, "You're just in time for the meteor shower. It's going to be a truly magnificent sight." Seijuro got to the bench as Anastasia started to explain the historical significance of tonight's skyward attraction, and was about to tell him about the legends of magic associated with the lights dancing across the sky, when she felt a dead weight fall on her lap. Instantly assuming Seijuro was doing something perverse she raised a hand to not so gently push him off, but the sound of his snores steadied her hand.
"You've worked very hard today captain to make everyone happy, it's ok if you miss out on this with me. After all I'm the least deserving of your lo...your time." Anastasia said to herself once again feeling awful about the events that happened with Yaksha and Shadow Tokyo. Looking up she could barely make out the sight of the shooting stars and meteors through her tears. "If only I'd been stronger. If I could only have been like you and put other's happiness and joy before my own. I truly wish I could do that and help others like you, not just through acting on the stage, but putting my whole body and being into everything. If only I had that chance. What differences could I make?"
For the next few hours Anastasia simply stroked Seijuro's hair as she looked not at the sky but at him. Which was a shame because she might have been able to see the bright light diverted from it's normal path across the sky and dived down at Anastasia and her captain and enveloped them both in a bright and magical light.
