When Iris opened her eyes she saw she was face down on the bed just as planned having fallen safely into her pillows post swap. Which meant..."It worked! It worked! It worked! It worked!" Iris squealed with Sumire's voice as she began to skip around her own room, or her old room now. But Iris soon learned not being herself came with some downsides as she tripped over Sumire's loose kimono mid skip and fell into a pile of stuffed animals. "Ouch," Iris said rubbing the top of her forehead, it seemed she had hit something hard. She didn't remember leaving any porcelain dolls in her stuff doll arrangement. But when she looked down she gasped, she hadn't hit a doll but she hit something that resembled one, her old body with Sumire inside it. And judging by the bump on her forehead, it was going to sting when she woke up.
"Sorry Sumire, but maybe that bump will turn into a horn and you can be the spoiled AND ugly stepsister." Iris stuck her tongue out at her old body she just insulted and giggled to herself.
She was the lead. She was the lead! No long cast as the little sister, or child, or elf, or background character! With Sumire's body she was now the lead! Everyone would get to see her be the fair maiden! Everyone would get to see her be the charming one! And there was nothing anyone could do about it!
Iris got up from her tumble and saw something fall out of the kimono she was now wearing. Bending to pick it up Iris gasped as she was that it was Sumire's purse. Sumire's purse that was full of more money than she had ever possessed in her life. With all that money Iris bet she could buy enough toys and accessories to line the walls of her room from floor to ceiling! Iris knew Sumire's family had a lot of money, so Sumire could afford it. This would basically be like a birthday present from Sumire to her. It was technically Iris's money now...right?
Iris had an internal debate about what she should do before making her decision.
