by: Prince Of Dragons Author IconMail Icon
John also notices two bright things floating down from the sky that land next to her crater. "Are those, golden wings?" John asks curiously before attempting to touch them. However, the wing become intangible upon his touch. The little girl shifts a bit be waking up. "Ugh, where, where am..." John quickly helps her up. "Are you alright? You fell awfully high." She looks up at John. "John Wrangler?"

"Uh, yeah. How did you know that?" John says a little creeped out. The girl smiles. "I've been watching you." John's blood goes cold after hearing that. "Please elaborate." He asks. "Okay, sorry. I don't normally complicated communicate with mortals. I'm a-" She stops as if she just remembered something. "Wait, Oh. Oh no! No no no no no!" She says as she hops out of John's arms and stops in front of one of the golden wings.

She kneels down and desperately tries to grab on to the wing, but it keeps slipping through her fingers. "No, no, no. This wasn't supposed to go like this. I knew he wouldn't like it, but I didn't think he would clip my wings. How am I going to help John now?" John decides to try and comfort the kid. "Tell me about it. Perhaps I can offer a solution?"

She wipes the tears from her eyes. "Okay, I want help you free the herd."

"Really? You'd help me do that?" John asks mostly in disbelief. "Why?"

She gives a small smile. "I get it. Entrusting a stranger with the survival of you herd is very risky. But I do wish you and your fellow human lived better lives than the ones him has place upon you."

John doesn't feel and deceit coming off of her, so he tries to trust her. "Tell me, who are you?"

She smiles eagerly. "I am the Angel of Justice, well I was. No wings." She says in a joking way, but John can hear the sadden in her voice. "Using my angelic status, I would periodically check for moments of injustice and put a stop to them. However, this will be my last at final time stopping injustices."

"Why?" John asks curiously.

"Well, I lost my wings, so I'm a....fallen angel."

John doesn't get it immediately but when he goes, he quickly backs up. "You're a demon!" John exclaims.

She shakes her head. "Not yet. When the rest of my divine energy gets depleted, then I'll turn evil. But I plan on using the rest of divine energy to break the Conditioning the Wolfes put on the herd. Although since I'm not an angel anymore, I'm going to need a vessel to spread my influence."

John sighs. "Of course, it wouldn't be that easy."

"Actually, it can be. If you let me enter your bod". She says while out stretching her hand.
