Food for Livestock

"Well, that's too bad." Said John "Looks like you're dog's meat. That, or they'll just let the pigs have you. " A mix of fear and rage came over Matthew. In a desperate last act of defiance, he used his last bit of strength to take a swing at John with the hammer that was still in his hand. He was actually half surprised that he succeeded, managing to make contact with the side of John's head, knocking him to the ground.

While that was going on, a handful of Matthew's cohorts managed to get to their feet and make a run for it. James wrestled the hammer from Matthew's hand and pinned him to the ground, before hogtieing him with a rope. Robert and a couple of farmhands chased after the fleeing livestock while the other farmhands began collecting the remaining rebels off the ground and loading them into cages.
