The night passed and was very anticlimactic for Jon and Ashlynn. Jon never found his prime chance to use his stones with Ashlynn being home the whole night. As the sun began to set and time ran out Jon knew he had to get to sleep. In the morning he had a 5K he was running with his friend Kelly and one of her friends.
The sound of an alarm startled Jon awake. As Jon looked over at the clock he realized he was running behind. In a rush he dashed out of bed and began to get himself ready so he wasn't late and made his friends wait. Ashlynn remained in bed sleeping in on her day off.
Pacing around Jon was looking for his stones so he could bring them with him, but he was not having any luck finding them. "Ughhh I wanted to bring them. There were gong to be so many options at this run." Jon huffed and sighed realizing he was pushing his limits with time.
Jon went upstairs and kissed Ashlynn, "goodbye honey I love you." Ashlynn glanced and told him he loved her back. As Jon was almost out the door she proceeded to remind him to not forget about his therapy appointment tonight with his counselor. Jon smiled and thanked her. If there was one thing he knew he was terrible at it was time management and forgetting things.
"Mmmm," Ashlynn grunted as she finally decided to get out of bed. She began to stand and stepped on something. She glanced down and saw a small sack. As she picked it up a tiny little piece of paper fell out. It was instructions. To use the stones grasp one in your hand and tightly squeeze the stone. Upon doing so will allow you to turn into a ghost letting you possess anyone of your choosing. "What the hell," Ashlynn said pondering to herself. She opened the bag and found a bunch of marbles.
