With the falling petals of the cherry blossoms and picturesque Japanese landscape, you could tell that this was Johto. Well, it could be Kanto as well. The two regions neighbor each other, but Kanto tends to be slightly less mountainous and with more bodies of water. So even though you had a limited vantage point, your instincts say Johto.
Other than the terrain, you also looked at the changes within yourself. The clothes you were wearing have banished into thin air. In their place was a layer of large plate mail like scales. Rapping your knuckles against them and they felt as solid as iron. You also developed hooked claws and sharp fangs. From your back there was a thick tail and you had a pair of wings that didn't feel functional for flight. Though they folded over you like a good cloak.
If you thought about it, you kind of looked like a knight mixed with a grey dark blue dragon man. Quite intimidating, if you forget the fact that you were the height of a chihuahua.
You moved over to a tree that towered over you like a skyscraper and tried out a few moves. After hitting it every which way, you managed to identify two of your attacks, Dragon Tail and Metal Claw.
You couldn't help but to nod with pride after seeing the deep gashes left in the tree. This was far from the idea you had as you sent yourself here, but it might not be so bad to unlock the abilities of a mighty Steel Dragon. Heck, you might even have legendary stats that could make you unrivaled in the world.
Sure you were small, but so was Mew, Celebi, or Jirachi and those Pokemon were almost unmatched with the power that they hold. You might no longer be able to become a Pokemon Master, but you can still master this world.
Unfortunately the sounds of movement awoke you from your little power fantasy. It seems something or someone heard the noise from your attacks and was coming to investigate.
