Milan sat down on his bed, holding the journal his mother gave him before he left for his college life. The small sticky note on the front read: “Good luck at college, love you”. He sighed missing home and looking down, though looking down he could see his plush gut he had grown. Seeing it did bring a smile to his face, knowing now he’s free to let himself grow, something he’s always wanted for years.
Even with his new freedom and plenty of funds his family gave him, he didn’t want to let his journal go to waste. So he decided to log how his day was, writing about his trip from home to the campus. Signing up for all his classes and seeing some of the new people around the campus. Though, he concluded with writing down, “Though I wish my fridge came stocked with some food. Maybe even some of my favorites.” With the period of that sentence being written, his fridge did become stocked. Filled with wrapped burgers from his favorite burger joint and pizza from the local pizzeria.
