The dinodroids are lead by the first ever built and the smartest dinodroid in existence, simply designated 'Alpha.' She is one of the few dinodroids built by the Dinans who still functions today and that's thanks to numerous upgrades she's had over the centuries, making her one of the strongest individual dinodroids as well. Unlike other dinodroids, Alpha doesn't harbor any hatred to organics. She just see them as the greatest threat to her kind, and as per her programming, she has to see them eliminated.
Not all dinodroids are ground units. Some of their ais are integrated into warships, giving that ai control over the entire ship. The still need crews for repairs and boarding defense, but this process makes the entire ship a dinodroid, essentially. The only downside is they can't take part in activities more conventionally designed dinodroids can.
Some dinodroids also aren't combat droids, but infiltration droids. They take the forms of organics or even other machines to sow chaos behind the lines. However, they always operate under the presumption they will be found out and destroyed, leading them to either being bold in their actions accepting their fate or subtle in hopes of defying their high mortality rates.
A civil model of dinodroid are the Science Droids. They are build with no armor and no combat weapons, but they are build with four arms each, some even with six, to complete the complex tasks they need to perform. Such tasks include monitoring cybersecurity of the empire or researching scientific fields to improve the dinodroids' manufacturing or combat capabilities. Aside from the extra arms, they still maintain the general appearance of all dinodroids aside from looking smaller and thinner than the others and having two large spherical compartments on their chests for holding items.
