The morphers are an alien race of shapeshifters originating from the planet Ski-6. Scientists still debate what their true form looks like since every morpher only takes the shape of whatever creature they're interacting with. When they were first discovered by the humans in 2250, they were quickly uplifted by the humans and have formed into a united nation squished between Modu-1 and Earth's spheres of influence. While their government is more closely align with earth, the young planet keeps its independence by playing to both the interests Confederacy and the United Nations.
The most obvious way to do this is to sell their population's natural ability to shapeshift to both powers. This has resulted in both empires relying on a significant amount of morphers in each of their spy agencies to spy on their rivals and Ski-6 maintaining an independent status despite being wedged between two major powers.
