This choice: she knows her teammates are KO. • Go Back...Chapter #5she knows her teammates are KO. by: right   Kaede had always been a perceptive girl, knowing when her friends were lying or hiding something. She also was a good seeker at hide and seek. But what thrilled her the most were investigation games. That’s why she had to play that game called “The Eye of Light” about a girl helping the holly cause with her investigation skills.
What she didn’t know, was that her investigations would happen in the real world with other players involved. But that wasn’t a problem since she quickly made a name by herself as one of the most efficient agents of the church, able to find her targets in record time and get positive results during interrogations.
But during this mission right now, something was off. She had to find a lone goblin who stole some documents coming from the church.
This should have ended quickly since she had the school representative and 2 hunters alongside her. Yet, she could feel the whole party was in a torpor state. What the heck was going on.
One thing was sure, she had to end this mission asap.
- I know you’re here you stupid gremlins! You’re just wasting both your time and mine.
She summoned several little tracker circles. Those could tell her what major leaving forms were in the selected area. Each of them displayed a list of leaving organism only Kaede could see, but only one of them had a goblin listed in. And that tracker was circling a bush. Her target was done.
- Found you, she wispered smiled.
As she approached the hiding place, a tiny green creature with a long black hair jumped and quickly escaped toward the nearby tree.
Catching a goblin would have been easy with her teammates, but she had to do it alone now. However, the tiny creature climbed in the tree, making it easy for Kaede to follow her. The log was full of knots, making it easy to climb up.
It was clear her target wasn’t good fighter, all she could do was throwing branches at her. Kaede wasn’t slowed down a little bit. She reached the first branches and had a good view on her target, made like a rat and unable to fight back. The tracking girl was kind of impressed by the goblin’s ability to keep silent despise the fact she was scared to death. Kaede climbed higher, approaching her victory.
But one of the branches she caught was cold as stone. Then she noticed something strange pointing at her belly. Was this a hypodermic riffle?
It didn’t took long before she got shot in the abdomen, falling from the tree to land in a bush. The goblin didn’t wait long before running away from the tree.
In the tree, a brown dragon was thanking her luck. When the two girls approached her tree, Yani used a risky move. She rolled herself around the log as if she was part of the tree. It was pure luck her target place herself perfectly for the riffle to shoot at her. As for the goblin … she’s not a problem at all.
Suddenly, some text popped in front of her head.
Congratulations:
You managed to protect your territory and stay out off sight at the same time. You will be rewarded for your exploits.
Yani was relieved that all of this was finally over. However, she was still stuck in her dragon form for now.
Yet, the night was coming, and it was difficult to notice anything that wasn’t in the light. It would be a shame to not enjoy her dragon form for now.
She deployed her wings and took flight in the dark night. She made sure to get higher than the flat so people wouldn’t notice her from below if she flew in front of a lit house. She enjoyed the feeling of the air on her face as she was flying in circle above her home, free as the air.
Then she stopped and sadly landed on the roof, the bearded man was still uncounsious there. she just remembered she just was supposed to play a videogame, but it was all so real. Was all this just a dream? Or was she becoming crazy?
Yet, flying like that was a real pleasure for her, she didn't want it to stop, even if she had to deal with some dangerous people to do so. But what if her familly was getting involved? whould she want to take that risk? Yani had really mixed feelings from her experience that day.

And after that, Yani got teleported in her room again back as a human, but she was still naked. First thing she did was hurriedly putting her clothes back. Then she looked at the screen of her computer. What she saw was …
