A stream of golden coins, brightly colored jewels and shimmering gems lie in a mountainous heap, lit by the flicking light of a dropped torch. Your own torch. Having rolled from the peak of this treasure isle that you now stand upon, this oil soaked source of light comes to a rolling stop right in front of a pin-prick of glistening scarlet, a ruby. All this treasure would ordinarily send you into a greed infused frenzy, grabbing for every little shiny trinket and stuffing it all in your backpack, various bags, down the front of your trousers, wherever you had room on your person, it would all be swollen close to bursting with treasure!

You quickly cover your shame, a beet red flush boils your face until you realize with embarrassment that nobody else seems to be in this cliff-side treasure trove. Why'd you climb up this mountain in the first place?! Sure, you heard rumors of dragons in the village down at the base, but why in the many layers of hell did you not take the local's warnings seriously?! Of course you weren't going to get any treasure, you'd have to have taken down a god-damned dragon to get at it! And you thought you were so clever, waiting until the great big beast went out for food or... whatever, but look what it's gotten you!
Anything from a wolf to a big fat pigeon could gobble you up in a single bite now, you stupid little thief!
...But now's not the time to beat yourself up.
"Where there's treasure in a cave, there be dragons."
You think you heard these words of wisdom somewhere, back at that little village, or maybe you just thought it up right now, you don't know, you aren't in the best of minds right now. And who could blame you, especially since you now stand...
